The 2009 St. Patrick's Day Parade saw over 675,000 people visiting Dublin city to enjoy one of the best St. Patrick’s Festivals ever. The festival took place over 6 days and with over twenty events happening in more than 10 locations city-wide there was something for everyone.
With such a wide variety of events and locations over the 6 day festival, the issue as to how best to inform visitors was important to the festival organizers. That’s where MobaNode came in.
With a hard launch date of March 11th, development was fast tracked over 3 weeks. The application contained 4 main sections – General Info, Event listing, Interactive Map and A Connect section with a wealth of information in the palm of your hand.
The guide was a great success and a hit with the festival visitors. Susan Kirby, acting CEO of St. Patrick’s Festival said
