We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to join the MobaNode team. We looking for people who can avail of the JobBridge scheme to come on-board with us. Why JobBridge? Well, we had great success with this the first time we used it – Brian Hickey joined us through JobBridge in April 2012 and we made an iOS developer out of him and he earned (and deserved) a full time role in November 2012. Here’s a happy Brian – 2nd from right….

Secondly, we’re a small team, so culture, fit and personality are important to us too – things that can’t be gleaned in a 60 minute interview and a glance at a portfolio. Thirdly, we’ve got to see your “mettle” – what better way then to take you on for a few projects? If you’re up for it, like Brian, there’s a job at the end to be had.

It’s Fringe Festival Time of year again and we’re back with the companion app for the 3rd year. This year’s app has all you’d expect – listings, venues and news and we’ve a cool new search feature so you can choose by category or a range of dates. For the less decisive among you, simply shake your iPhone to be shown a random event and who knows, it might end you as your festival highlight…

Castle palooza Music and Arts festival are the latest to get our festival app treatment – for both iPhone and Android.

As well as all the usual festival details – bands, stages, line-up and maps, the app has Facebook and Twitter built right in, so you can keep up with all the latest news. Additionally, you can even buy tracks through iTunes from the bands playing and also listen to Palooza Radio through the Deezer player.

So, grab the App here, and head off to Charleville Castle this August Bank holiday!

For sure, like all self respecting cutting edge development houses we’ve a beer fridge, but it remains tightly locked ’till Fridays – so what do we do the rest of the days – stick the the “virtual” stuff! Tom – resident student intern and all ’round guinea pig shows an element of our latest creation in operation…

Over the last few weeks we’ve be working with the good folks at the Kinsale Arts Festival and we’re happy to say that the Festival app has just launched, and it provides all the information you need to make the very most of nine electric days and nights packed full of tantalizing cultural events in extraordinary locations!

Building on MobaNode’s festival framework, the App has live event listings, an interactive map and twitter and facebook integration and plenty of useful information including ways to book tickets to the festival. So download it now here…

…We always knew Tom (our resident intern) had an inner beast….but now, through the use of AR technology, we’ve found it!
