Absolut Fringe Festival 2011
ABSOLUT Fringe is Irelands largest multi-disciplinary arts festival. MobaNode was brought in again, having previously built the App in 2010, to design the App for this highly regarded festival. Now in its 17th year, the festival stages up to 650 events in over 40 venues, and around 150,000 people have at least one Fringe experience during the Festival. With such a wide variety of acts, and varied locations, the App is an ideal companion for Fringe goers to navigate the myriad of performances on offer. It is the definitive guide to every comedy show, theatre performance, dance piece, outdoor spectacle and music gig happening as part of Dublin's most exciting festival.
Through Absolut Vodka's sponsorship, the App also contained the Absolute Edge photo competition which compelled users to take create pictures at Fringe events which could then be uploaded to Facebook
