Yes, it's that time of the year again and MobaNode is delighted to be working with the St. Patricks Festival team once again to produce the St. Patrick's festival apps. This year, the Apps will be available for iPhone and Android and as well as containing all the usual features of the list of events, maps etc this year we have fully integrated Twitter & Facebook and for all the Irish Diaspora around the world, they can now watch the Parade on the 17th Live through the App (Courtesy of RTE)

Hello, I'm at Wimbledon, Yeah, the App is great...

IBM (or Big Blue as they used be known), know a thing or two about technology and this App for Wimbledon available for Android is very well put together (better than the iPhone version). It has a wealth of information relating to the Tennis tournament, but the killer feature is that it can SEE THROUGH WALLS!

Well, in reality it can't, but don't tell the marketing folks that! In essence, it cleverly uses Augmented reality to source Live TV footage - simply put, point the phone at a court, and if there is a match on, the link to the video feed will show up and you can watch the match live. So, no longer do you miss out if you've only got tickets to the outside courts, but it'd no doubt be unpsortsmanly to sit on one court, watching a match from another court on your phone! Besides, how'd you eat the strawberries with one hand holding a phone?
