It has a wealth of information relating to the Tennis tournament, but the killer feature is that it can SEE THROUGH WALLS!

Well, in reality it can't, but don't tell the marketing folks that! In essence, it cleverly uses Augmented reality to source Live TV footage - simply put, point the phone at a court, and if there is a match on, the link to the video feed will show up and you can watch the match live. So, no longer do you miss out if you've only got tickets to the outside courts, but it'd no doubt be unpsortsmanly to sit on one court, watching a match from another court on your phone! Besides, how'd you eat the strawberries with one hand holding a phone?

iPad & Velcro - Made for each other

Initially on seeing this, I thought nobody would ever trust their beloved iPad to velcro, but after viewing again I think there is definitely something here and perhaps, like iPhone cases, a massive 3rd party after market for a productised version.
According to the latest reports, Apple managed to have their best quarter ever with the iPhone. In total, Apple shifted 8.75 million of the shiny devices. This brings the total to just over 51m for the complete history of the iphone (all three models) - not counting iTouch's (which Apple usually throw into the equation to beef things up). Other, more established handset manufacturers slightly pooh-pooh these numbers, but this last quarter for Apple is a 130% growth, year on year - not many of the "others" can boast that!

With all this though, it is worth pointing out that the iphone is not the best selling phone ever, nor the fastest selling ever. And at the same time, Android is catching up, selling 60% of the volume of iphones, and other platforms are out there. The point is that whilst the iphone is significant, it’s not the only handset out there! And at MobaNode, we cater for all platforms!

HTC sum up Mobile meaning nicely...

Saw this Ad on "real telly" last night (well actually stopped fast forwarding on Sky+ to view). Sure, there are SDK's out there and Virtual Devices (www.deviceanywhere.com etc.) but nothing can beat actually having the devices to hand. I'm not sure if this permanent "connectedness" through all these multiple channels is actually going anywhere, other to enhance carriers revenue, increase the amount of Ads google can serve, and play to the "look at me" tendencies of those with the attention span of a gnat...

(unique selling point). When asking this, they are looking for the key differentiator, the "thing" that sets you or your company apart, your "secret sauce", your "protectable intellectual property", the thing they put their money on. In Horse Racing, given that the ingredients are all the same (Horse+Breeding+Jockey+Trainer), the USP is a magical combination of all four.

In business it's usually simpler - the promoter and the idea - if the idea is patentable, and protectable and the market is there, then you're past the first post. If the promoter is experienced, and with a track record, you're even further along. If however, your business is a "service" business, in an emerging market, it's much harder to prove to investor types. Although some of the best business' in the world are "service" based - see Ryanair and McDonalds for example, investors still like patentable, tangible assetts. In the emerging creative service space that MobaNode occupies presently, the value or USP is hard to tie down as the barriers to entry are seen as "low". This gives us a constant dilemma, leading to much head wrangling and brainstorming, trying to justify our place in this market, trying to think of something complicated. However, in the end we managed to distill it down to just 4 words...
