From little seeds, big companies grow...

Some really, really, really great news today, and we just had to hold off until confirmed, but now we're delighted to announce that MobaNode has been selected for the Munster regional finals of Intertrade Ireland's Seedcorn competition.

This is huge! We didn't really expect to get through when we first submitted out business plan, but I suppose it's like anything you've been working on for a long time, you get familiar with it. We thought of our Business Plan as a functional tool, of course, it's something to plan with, but also something to fend off Enterprise Ireland and the Banks with. But now it looks like all those hours of toil and figures are paying off, giving us a one in three chance of a cash prize, and perhaps futher success in the all Ireland finals.

Further great news as it turns out that Ger Hartnett's Coclarity and Ronan Skehill's Cauwill Technologies are the other two companies. We know each other well, as we separated by a distance of no more than 20 feet as the crow flies and some plasterboard. Good luck to all.

That's our work sorted for the next two weeks - practice, practice, practice! Thursday 5th November at 10:20 is our pitch...yikes!
